Founded in 2023, Ulysses exists to steward the ocean, that vast and chaotic frontier at the foundation of all life on Earth.

We’re a team of engineers, field operators, and builders who’ve worked at the edge of innovation: from Formula 1 and autonomous vehicles to satellites, space lasers, and deep-sea robotics. What unites us isn’t just technical expertise; it’s a shared belief that the ocean is the planet’s most strategic and underserved domain.

That’s why we’re building the operating system for the ocean: massive, networked fleets of low-cost, autonomous vehicles that operate above and below the surface. Hardware trusted to function in the harshest maritime environments—whether restoring seagrass meadows, securing critical infrastructure, or conducting persistent ISR in contested waters.

We began with ecological restoration because it presents the hardest challenge—combining complex sensing with precision intervention in dynamic environments. This read–write capability is the foundation of our mission. If we can make restoration autonomous, we can make anything autonomous. This is how humanity interfaces with the ocean at scale.
